The Private Residences at Hotel Georgia is a tall residential building located on 699 Howe Street in Vancouver , British Columbia , Canada . The building has 49 floors and a height of 157 meters. The residential building is directly adjacent to the exclusive Rosewood Hotel Georgia , which opened in 1927 and has been extensively restored due to the construction of the private residences.

construction time

Construction work began in November 2008 on the site where the Hotel Georgia's car park was located. The multi-storey car park was demolished and an underground car park with around 328 parking spaces was created instead. In June 2009, the underground work was completed and the above-ground floors began. Work on the hotel building took place in 2010. In the spring, the restoration and fundamental refurbishment of the 154 rooms of the Rosewood Hotel Georgia building was completed. The hotel building was opened in July 2011. At the end of 2011 the skyscraper reached its final height. The interior work began immediately.
