The Ramp (English for the ramp is) a 800 m long, 50 m high and rocky steep slope on the Antarctic Ross Island . It is 800 m inland from Cape Evans .
It got its descriptive name from participants in the Terra Nova Expedition (1910-1913) under the direction of the British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott .
