"Produced cheaply and without fresh ingredients, the action role-playing game on Mars satisfies the hunger for games - if you don't expect too much."

- Sascha Penzhorn : Test report Gamestar

“Yes, 'The Technomancer' weakens when it comes to presentation and AI behavior. Nevertheless, the bottom line is an amazingly entertaining action role-playing game with a successful combat system, a well-balanced degree of difficulty, a solidly told story and interesting decision-making situations. "

- Sönke Siemens, Benedikt Plass-Fleßenkämper : test report computer picture games

“The Technomancer seems like an RPG inspired by the greats of the genre, but it never really understands the fundamental elements that made them great. It has all the moving parts of a mid-2000s BioWare game but lacks technical polish and storytelling finesse to a sometimes painful degree. "

“The Technomancer feels like an RPG that was inspired by the greats of the genre but never understood the basic elements that made these titles so great. It has all the individual components of a BioWare game in the mid-2000s, but lacks technical fine-tuning and narrative finesse to a sometimes painful degree. "

- TJ Hafer : Test report IGN

IGN described The Technomancer as a representative of a gradually emerging B-game area (based on B-Movie ), whose representatives cannot keep up with the blockbuster productions, not least because of the lower budget, technically and in terms of content. In return, they contained numerous ideas and approaches that would help them to gain a loyal fan base and - despite the sometimes devastating reviews after publication - would help them achieve modest long-term success.
