The Three Sisters ( Irish : An Triúr Deirféar , dt "The Three Sisters") is a common name in Ireland for the rivers Barrow , Suir and Nore .

The Nore flows into the Barrow, which finally flows into the lower reaches of the Suir. The Suir widens to an estuary , Waterford Harbor ( Cuan Phort Láirge ), which joins the Celtic Sea south of Waterford at Dunmore East . Between the source and the mouth, the course of the rivers fans out and extends over a large part of south-eastern Ireland u. a. in Counties Laois , Tipperary , Carlow , Kilkenny , Wexford, and Waterford .
