history
The band was formed in the early 2000s when Phil Etheridge and Jon Watkin got together and made music together. By 2004 it became the five-person group The Twang . Tours and appearances followed, and in 2006 they appeared at a show at the Birmingham Bar Academy. In 2007 the successful debut album Love It When I Feel Like This actually followed , which made it to number 3 on the album charts and was awarded gold . It also spawned the top 10 hit Either Way . The Twang then received the Philip Hall Radar Award at the 2007 NME Awards .
