The Umbilical Brothers
The Umbilical Brothers (English "The Umbilical Brothers") is an Australian comedy duo, consisting of Shane Dundas and David Collins.
history
Dundas and Collins met at the University of Western Sydney in 1988 and began performing together as a comedy duo. Her appearances are characterized by pantomime elements combined with normal dialogues and vocal sound effects. Occasionally they also use hand puppets, special lighting effects or involve the audience in their performances. Since the mid-1990s, the duo became internationally known, including appearances on the popular American television show Late Show with David Letterman and at the American Comedy Awards . The duo gained notoriety in Germany through repeated appearances on the TV Total program .
