The Wall ( English for The wall is) an up to 125 m high, steep towering ridge on the Ingrid Christensen Coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth country . It extends southwest of the former location (Progress-1) of the Russian Progress station in the Larsemann Hills .
The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it that way in 1987 because like a wall it blocks the ice flow to the north.
