The theater monastery ruins Boitzenburg was the actor in 2005 Roland Seidler launched open-air stage . It was located about 20 km west of Prenzlau and about 80 km north of Berlin on the outskirts of the village Boitzenburg in the Uckermark , Brandenburg . In 2012 the theater was closed due to illness of the theater director.

The performances on the approximately 80 m wide natural stage only took place in July and August due to the weather. Most of the productions were characterized by a large number of mounted actors and revolved around motifs from The Three Musketeers and Robin Hood . As a backdrop, the ruins of the building built in 1230 and served in the Thirty Years' War ruined Cistercian - monastery Boitzenburg . The following were listed:

The hands-on theater “The Little Robbers” was offered to children every year.
