Morgenstern stage

The Morgenstern stage is a touring theater based in Oldenburg in Holstein .

The stage specializes in theater for children, which means that the selected pieces are prepared in a child-friendly manner close to the original text and are presented in stylish costumes . history

The stage was founded in 1945 by prisoner-of-war artists in a camp in Friedrichskoog. At the end of 1945 these prisoners were transferred to Ostholstein. The name "Der Morgenstern" is derived from the Morgenstern - the artists wanted "as this star is a precursor for the sun, to be a precursor for a new theater in Germany".
