Theater Pathological Institute

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Theaterpathological Institute is a theater project that was founded in 1981 by Roland Reber in Hamburg. It played from 1983 to 1989 in Hattingen and Lünen . The Theater Institute later emerged from this. With scandalous productions, the group caused a sensation in the Ruhr area until 1989. Then, with the strong support of the then Prime Minister Johannes Rau, the TPI moved to the Stadttheater Lünen and from then on was called THEATER INSTITUT. This then became the WELT THEATER PROJECT (WTP), which in cooperation with the German, Russian, Jamaican and Indian UNESCO commission and as part of the World Decade for Cultural Development of the United Nations realized international productions with actors from all over the world. The director was the author and director Roland Reber, who has dedicated himself exclusively to the staging of cinema films (including " 24/7 The Passion of Life ", " My Dream or The Solitude is Never Alone ") since 1999 .

Actors such as Fee Sachse , Jochen Nickel , Thirza Bruncken , Carsten Lorenz , Joe Bausch , Frank Hoelz and Thomas Rech gained their first stage experience here.
