Theo Hoer

(Johannes-Theodor) Theo Hoer (born January 27, 1941 in Düsseldorf-Flingern ) is a German politician ( CDU ). From 1999 to 2004 he was mayor of Grevenbroich .

Career

In 1968 Theo Hoer moved to Wevelinghoven, where he worked as a teacher at the community secondary school and from 1983 as rector (secondary school Grev.- Orken). Theo Hoer became politically active in the CDU local association Wevelinghoven, which he chaired between 1975 and 1991. Knowledgeable citizen , parliamentary group chairman, councilor are further stages of his political career.

In 1970, together with Karl-Heinz Vogel and others, he set up a target shooting corps in Wevelinghoven. Until 1991 he was managing director of the target shooting group. In 1982 he became vice-president of the citizens' shooting club in Wevelinghoven and in 1990 he was corps king of the target shooters. Hoer wrote the text stanzas of the Wevelinghovener Heimatlied.

Between 1999 and 2004 he was mayor of the city of Grevenbroich after working in the administration (nine years as an alderman for schools / sports / culture).

Since May 1, 2007 he has been an honorary member of BSV Wevelinghoven.

Private

Theo Hoer has been married since 1968 and has a daughter. Since 1962 he has been a member of the Catholic student association KDStV Ripuaria Aachen.
