Theo Jackson

Theo Jackson (born January 4, 1986 ) is a British jazz singer , composer and pianist.

Jackson initially performed from Oxford before moving to London. He performs regularly in well-known jazz clubs (such as the 606 Club) in the UK and at festivals. In 2012 his album Jericho (Wobbly Dog Records) was released, which contains his own compositions. He also adapts instrumental compositions by John Coltrane , Oliver Nelson , Charlie Parker , Scott LaFaro ( Gloria's Step ), Wayne Shorter ( Footprints ) and others. In 2015 Shoeless and the Girl (Dot Time Records) was released. He often appears in a trio with a rhythm section made up of Jason Reeve (drums) and Shane Allessio (bass).
