Theo Locher (born October 26, 1921 in Interlaken ; † November 23, 2010 ) was a Swiss parapsychologist .
Life
1941 Commercial diploma at the high school in Bern . 1944 Eidg. Matura followed by studies in mathematics , history , geography and geology at the University of Bern . 1951 high school teacher diploma. 1954 PhD in geography (historical geodesy). 1955 secondary teacher diploma. Until 1986 (retirement) teacher at the business school in Biel , then at the business school in Biel for mathematics, geography and geology.
effect
Locher founded the Swiss Association for Parapsychology in Biel in 1966 , was its president from 1966 to 1991 (then honorary president) and editor of the bulletin for parapsychology and the SVPP's orientation sheets . In 1985 he founded the Swiss Foundation for Parapsychology (SSPP). In 1989 he founded the Dr. A. Hedri Foundation for Exopsychology and Epipsychology . As early as 1965 Locher was a lecturer in parapsychology at many adult education centers in Switzerland. The SVPP was together with the Basler Psi-Verein (BPV) and the Swiss Parapsychological Society (SPG) patronage society of the "Basler Psi-Tage" (1984-2006).
