Theo N. Waubke
Theodor Nikolaus Waubke (born April 27, 1928 - January 3, 2005 ) was a German ophthalmologist.
Life
Waubke was an assistant and senior physician in Heidelberg, Hamburg and Dortmund. Via Gerd Meyer-Schwickerath , he came to the Essen Municipal Hospitals in 1966, which in 1963 had become the second medical faculty of the Westphalian Wilhelms University of Münster . In 1972 he took the newly established second chair for ophthalmology at the University of Essen . From 1985 until his retirement in July 1993 he was director of the Essen University Eye Clinic. One son is an orthopedic surgeon in Essen.

- Elected to the German Academy of Sciences Leopoldina (1986)
- Honorary member of the German Ophthalmological Society (1994)
