Theo Röhrig (born February 6, 1936 in Kürten , Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis ) is a German SPD politician .

Theo Röhrig attended elementary school; He then completed an apprenticeship as a chemistry laboratory assistant. He then worked as such. He made his first experiences as a representative of employees in the works council of Klöckner-Humboldt-Deutz . He attended the Administrative Management Academy in Cologne and the Academy of Labor in Frankfurt / Main. From April 1963 he worked as a teacher at Dortmund's Heiderhof, a school of IG Metall. Eventually he became a district secretary. He was a member of IG Metall since 1951.

Theo Röhrig was a member of the SPD from 1954. He was elected a member of the Bergisch Gladbach City Council in 1961. Here he was parliamentary group leader from 1965.

Theo Röhrig was directly elected member of the 7th state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia for constituency 027 Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis I from July 26, 1970 to May 27, 1975 .
