Theodor Axenfeld (diplomat)

Theodor Axenfeld (born December 26, 1905 in Betzdorf ; † n. E.) was a German diplomat .

He was the son of Pastor Gottfried Axenfeld. He studied economics in Berlin and then worked as a businessman on the west coast of Africa for 12 years. After the Second World War he worked for the Rhineland-Palatinate state government .

From 1960 to 1962 he was Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Dahomey , from 1960 to 1963 Ambassador to the Ivory Coast and from 1969 to 1970 Ambassador to Nigeria .
