Theodor Harder (sociologist)

Theodor Harder (born June 7, 1931 in Wernigerode ; † September 7, 2016 in Melle ) was a German sociologist and mathematician .

Theodor Harder was offered a professorship for methodology and mathematics of the social sciences on January 25, 1970 and was one of the founding professors of the Faculty of Sociology at Bielefeld University . From 1973 to 1976 he was dean. He taught there until his retirement in 1996.
