Theodor Hoorns

Theodor Hoorns (born June 12, 1888 in Hamburg ; † August 18, 1976 there ) was a German politician ( FDP ).

Life, work and politics

Hoorns was a teacher by profession and worked as a teacher at a high school in Harburg . He was involved in the FDP and was elected to the Harburg district committee on the list of the Father City Association of Hamburg in 1949. In 1953 he was on the list of the Hamburg-block re-elected to the District Council, however, the mandate laid after a few weeks in favor of Heinrich Laue down, he at the same time carried out state election in the Hamburg parliament had been elected. After the Hamburg bloc was dissolved, he was re-elected to the state parliament in 1957 on the FDP state list. In 1961 he renounced another candidacy and resigned from parliament.
