Theodor Wallau
Wilhelm Hans-Theodor Wallau (born January 28, 1937 in Surabaja , Indonesia ) is a former German diplomat .
Theodor Wallau studied law and political science at the Universities of Mainz and Bonn . In 1961 he joined the Foreign Service . He was initially at the foreign missions in New York and Jakarta. In 1963 he completed a master's degree at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy . Wallau was the German ambassador to Indonesia (1987–1991), Brazil (1991–1993), Israel (1996–2000) and the Holy See (2000–2002). He is the Federal Foreign Representative of the Malteser Aid Service .
