Theodor Wiegand Society

The Theodor Wiegand Society - Society of Friends of the German Archaeological Institute e. V. ( TWG ) is a non-profit association of the German Archaeological Institute .

On the occasion of the centenary of the German Archaeological Institute in Berlin in 1929, the "Society of Friends of the German Archaeological Institute" was founded by well-known members of the Berlin business community to provide financial support for the institute.
