Theodore Soderberg

Theodore Soderberg (born January 31, 1890 in Somerset , Wisconsin , † December 19, 1971 in Glendale , California ) was an American sound engineer .

Life

Theodore Soderberg was born in Somerset, Wisconsin in 1890. He worked for Universal Pictures and was the sound director for the film Imitation of Life . At the Academy Awards in 1935 , Soderberg received a nomination in the Best Sound category for his work in this black and white film .

Theodore Soderberg died on December 19, 1971 in Glendale, California, at the age of 81.
