Theological working group Pfullingen

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Theological Working Group Pfullingen e. V. is an association of professors of Protestant theology from all over the German-speaking area with a focus on systematic theology . The objectives are to promote theological research and theological young generation as well as to strengthen the dialogue between the chair holders with their different theological and professional orientations.

The working group is named after the place of its establishment; in Pfullingen , the first conferences took place in the Jakob-Albrecht-Haus from 1980 ( Eilert Herms , Wilfried Härle , Manfred Marquardt and Reiner Preul ) . The circle originally intended for internal discussion quickly expanded into an influential forum for reflection on theology in German-speaking countries.

In 1986 the first graduate college was held in Neuendettelsau , which takes place annually from 1987 onwards on the basis of the Marburg Theology Yearbook .
