Theresa Tona (born January 21, 1991 ) is a Papua New Guinean Taekwondoin . It starts in the weight class up to 49 kilograms.
Tona played her first international title fights at the Junior World Championships 2008 in Izmir , where she was eliminated in her opening fight. She was able to qualify for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing , but dropped out there early. In 2011, she won her second Olympic Games in London in 2012 by winning the Oceanic Olympic Qualification Tournament in Nouméa .
