Therese Schmitt (born January 31, 1877 in Ludwigshafen , † August 17, 1948 in Ludwigshafen am Rhein ) was a German politician.

Life and work

Therese Schmitt was a housewife. She was involved in the Catholic Women's Association in Germany and was a member of the board.

From 1919 to 1920, during the Weimar Republic, Schmitt was a member of the Bavarian People's Party in the Bavarian State Parliament , in which she represented the Speyer and Kusel constituencies. She was one of the first seven women in the Bavarian Parliament.
