Theresia Fletschberger

Theresia Fletschberger (born September 14, 1951 in Goldegg ) is an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ). Fletschberger was a member of the Salzburg state parliament from 1994 to 2009 .

education and profession

After attending elementary and secondary school, she first worked in the Raiffeisenbank Schwarzach im Pongau . After their marriage in 1971, she moved to Henndorf am Wallersee and became a farmer. Since 2002 she has held the professional title of economist .

politics

Between 1982 and 1993 Fletschberger worked as a local farmer and moved into the local council in 1989. Fletschberger is an agricultural councilor and district farmer in the Flachgau region as well as deputy state farmer . From 1994 she represented the ÖVP in the Salzburg state parliament and was most recently the area spokesperson for agriculture and forestry (subsidies, chambers / LWK / LAK, animal welfare, organic agriculture), family (family support, child care, domestic violence, family counseling), Social services and aid organizations. As her political priorities, she herself described the education and training of rural youth, care for the elderly and children as well as food labeling.

In the state elections in 2009 Fletschberger did not run and thus left the state parliament on April 22, 2009.

Private

Fletschberger is married and has four children. From 1976 to 1988 she headed the Catholic women’s group in Henndorf and was a parish councilor from 1977 to 1992.
