Theus Bracht

Theus Bracht (born December 24, 1900 in Ditzumerhammrich , district of Leer ; † November 30, 1963 there ) was a German SPD politician .

Life

Bracht attended elementary school and then worked in agriculture from 1914 to 1917, then in construction. In 1919 he joined the trade union and in 1926 the SPD in the Weener-Nord district. Since 1926 he was a member of the community council. In 1946 he took over the chairmanship of the SPD and the trade union in Ditzumerverlaat . From 1952 he was an employee of the horticultural, agricultural and forestry union. Bracht was a member of the Ditzum municipal council and from December 1956 to 1963 the district administrator of the Leer district. From April 20, 1947 to May 5, 1963 he was a member of the state parliament in Lower Saxony for the 1st to 4th electoral term.
