Thierry Collaud
Thierry Collaud (* 1957 in Freiburg im Üechtland ) is a Roman Catholic theologian .
Life
He studied medicine in Freiburg in Üechtland and Geneva , theology in Geneva, Neuchâtel NE and Freiburg in Üechtland and philosophy ( bioethics ) in Washington, DC For 20 years he was a general practitioner in the Littoral region . Since 2012 he has been a professor at the theological faculty of the University of Friborg , where he holds the chair for special moral theology and Christian social ethics. He is also the vice director of the interdisciplinary institute for ethics and human rights at the University of Freiburg im Üechtland.
His work focuses on ecclesiology and the subjects of compassion, social justice and political theology.
