Thierry Hupond (born November 10, 1984 in Décines-Charpieu ) is a former French cyclist .

Athletic career

In 2002 Hupond became French champion in the junior individual time trial . In 2006 he won a half-stage in the Tour de la Nouvelle-Caledonie and was second in the second half-piece on the same day. In the 2007 season he was third on the fourth section of the Rhône-Alpes Isère Tour . Then he got a place as a stagiaire with the Dutch Professional Continental Team Skil-Shimano .

In 2009 he made his first big tour of the country over three weeks, the Giro d'Italia . In the following years he drove the Tour of Spain several times .

In 2014, Hupond won a stage of the Quatre Jours de Dunkerque . In 2016 he moved to Delko Marseille Provence KTM . He ended his cycling career at the end of the 2017 season.
