Thierry Lalive d'Epinay

Thierry Lalive d'Epinay (* 1944 ) was Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Swiss Federal Railways from 1999 until his resignation at the end of 2008 . A high point of his tenure was the realization of the Bahn 2000 , in which massive improvements in public transport were made with the timetable change on December 12, 2004.

He is married to the former FDP politician Maya Lalive d'Epinay (* 1957), who sat on the National Council from 1999 to 2003.
