Thierry Pauwels
Thierry Pauwels (* 1957 ) is a Belgian astronomer and asteroid discoverer.
He works at the Observatoire royal de Belgique ( IAU code 012) in Uccle in Belgium and between 1996 and 2008 discovered a total of 100 asteroids and 9 others together with colleagues.
The asteroid (12761) Pauwels was named after him in 1993.
