Thierry Zéno
Thierry Zéno (* 22. April 1950 in Namur , † 7. June 2017 ) was a Belgian Underground - Director and screenwriter .
After a short film about an inmate of a psychiatric hospital, he made his first feature film in 1974 with Vase de noces . The story tells in a very incoherent structure the love of a farmer for his pig. The open portrayal of zoophilia , the killing of animals and coprophagia sparked protests. At the prestigious Perth International Film Festival , the government of Western Australia tried to prevent the planned screening in 1975.
From 1985 to 1999 he initially worked as a lecturer in cinegraphy and videography at the Académie de Dessin et des Arts décoratifs in Molenbeek-Saint-Jean, and in 1999 became its director.
