Thomas-Bernd Quaas

Thomas-Bernd Quaas (* 1952 in Glauchau , Saxony ) is a German manager and was CEO of Beiersdorf AG from 2005 to 2012 .

Life

Shortly before the Berlin Wall was built (1961), his family fled to the West. Quaas began his professional career after studying business administration in Frankfurt am Main in 1979 at Beiersdorf AG. He worked there as a trainee and later became Sales and Marketing Director Germany.

After he was appointed to the executive board of Beiersdorf AG in 1999, where he was responsible for the medical division as well as the areas of purchasing, production and logistics, he succeeded Rolf Kunisch as CEO in May 2005 .

Quaas is married and has two sons.
