Thomas Augustinussen (born March 20, 1981 in Svendborg ) is a Danish football player . The midfielder is under contract with Aalborg BK .
He started his career at Aabybro IF before joining the youth team at Aalborg BK . In the 1999/2000 season he made the leap into the first team and played with the club in the Champions League and the UEFA Cup, among others .
FC Red Bull Salzburg signed him for the 2009/10 season ; his contract ran until summer 2012. In his first season he was Austrian champion with the team. On January 27, 2011, an early termination of the contract was agreed. After that he returned to Aalborg BK .
