Thomas Berg

Thomas Berg (* 1957 in Lüneburg ) is a German Anglicist.

Life

After the 2nd state examination in Speyer , the doctorate in Braunschweig 1986 with the topic The mapping of the language production process in an activation flow model and the habilitation in Ollnborg 1995 with the topic Linguistic structure and change. In 1996/1997 he held a chair at the University of Duisburg on explanation from language processing . Since 1997 he has held the professorship for English linguistics at the University of Hamburg .

His main research interests are psycholinguistics, phonology, contrastive linguistics and morphology.
