Thomas Cup 2016

The 29th edition of the Thomas Cup , the world championship for men's badminton teams , took place together with the Uber Cup 2016 from May 15 to 22, 2016 in Kunshan . With Denmark, the winner was for the first time a non-Asian team.

Award of the event

The event was awarded at the BWF meeting on May 28, 2014 in New Delhi. Kunshan prevailed against Jakarta, against which they were defeated in the award of the individual world championships for 2015.
