Thomas Feurer
Thomas Feurer (* 1953 ) is a Swiss politician ( GLP , formerly the Ecoliberal Movement Schaffhausen (ÖBS) ).
biography
Feurer completed an apprenticeship as an electronics technician . From 1992 to 2008 he was the manager of a stationery shop that he had taken over from his parents. Feurer is married.
Feurer was elected to the city parliament of Schaffhausen in 1992. From 1997 he was a member of the Schaffhausen City Council . In 2008 he replaced Marcel Wenger as city president of Schaffhausen. He sits on the board of various foundations.
In 2014 Feurer changes from the ÖBS to the Green Liberal Party, which was new to founding in Schaffhausen. On May 15, 2014 Feurer surprisingly announced his resignation from the office of mayor for the end of the year. Peter Neukomm was elected to succeed him.
