Thomas Foley (ski racer)
Thomas "Thos" Foley (born November 9, 1979 in Kenmare , County Kerry ) is a retired Irish ski racer . He lives and trains in Swiss Verbier .
His first international race was a downhill run at the British Championships in 1999, which were held in France as no suitable venue could be found within the UK . He achieved his best international result with the one at the Scottish Championships 2004 in Meribel with a second place in the giant slalom.
He represented Ireland at the 2006 Winter Olympics , where he finished 31st in the men's giant slalom .
