Thomas Gonda (born January 7, 1976 ) is a former Austrian football player . With the Favoritner AC , the ASK Kottingbrunn and the SC Neusiedl , he won several championship titles in various divisions. Today he is a football coach .

Career as a player

Gonda began his career in 1983 in the youth team of the Favoritner AC, switched briefly to FC Admira Wacker Mödling in 1993 and returned to the Favoritner AC in 1994. There he won the championship title in the Regionalliga Ost in 1994/95 and was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga .

After further seasons at the Favoritner AC and the SC Himberg, he won the championship title in 2001 with the ASK Kottingbrunn in the Regionalliga Ost. Gonda managed a 2-1 lead in a relegation game with a shot from 30 meters, but in the end ASK Kottingbrunn had to admit defeat to the opponent in the overall standings. In 2004 and 2005 he was twice champion with SC Neusiedl and rose with the club from the 2nd regional league Burgenland to the Regional League East.

He then played for two seasons in the Burgenland regional league at SV Neudörfl and SV Steinbrunn and ended his playing career after an engagement at 1. Wiener Neustädter SC in 2009 at SR Donaufeld in Vienna .

Career as a coach

During his active career as a football player Gonda was working on his training as a football coach , and received in 2007 the UEFA -A- coaching license and then worked from 2007 to 2009 as co-player-coach at SC Neudörfl.

Gonda trained as head coach in the years 2011/12 the junior teams of SC Wiener Neustadt . After his return from Lower Austria , Gonda worked as an assistant trainer in Vienna at LA Riverside in 1st class - A Vienna. Gonda is currently assistant coach at ASK Kaltenleutgabe at the side of the former player from FK Austria Wien , Attila Sekerlioglu.
