Thomas Ignatius Maria Forster

Thomas Ignatius Maria Forster (born November 9, 1789 in London , † February 2, 1860 in Brussels ) was an English naturalist. He was the eldest son of the botanist Thomas Furley Forster (1761-1825).

Forster was a private scholar and carried out mainly astronomical and meteorological studies.

He was a member of the Royal Astronomical Society .
