Thomas Knuth

Thomas Knuth (* 14. July 1956 in Mannheim ) is a German non-fiction author with thematic focus Berlin .

Life

Thomas Knuth studied history and German in Heidelberg . From 1982 to 1986 he taught German at various private schools in Italy and then worked for a year as an interpreter and tour guide in southern France. After further professional positions in the USA and England, most recently as Quality Manager Europe for the internationally operating American company JI Case , Knuth was hired in 1998 as an export manager at the company Biodur in Heidelberg. The company was connected to Gunther von Hagens' Institute for Plastination , whose personal advisor Knuth was until 2002. Knuth has lived in Berlin since 2002. Until November 2019 he worked as a freelance city guide in Berlin and Potsdam and as a non-fiction author with a focus on Berlin. Today he devotes himself to philosophical and historical studies.
