Thomas Lampert

Thomas Lampert (* 1958 in Offenburg ) is a German clarinetist.

The cousin of the horn player Christian Lampert first studied at the music academies in Karlsruhe and Würzburg and then moved to Freiburg , where Karsten Gorzel was an influential teacher. In 1982, while still a student, he became a member of the Philharmonic Orchestra Würzburg . Since then, in addition to his position as principal clarinetist in the Philharmonic Orchestra Würzburg, he has been a lecturer at the Würzburg University of Music.

Participation in numerous CD productions. In addition to his employment in the symphony orchestra , Lampert is also heavily involved in chamber music .
