Christian Lampert
Christian Lampert (* 1967 in Offenburg ) is a German horn player.
Lampert studied French horn with Francesco Raselli , Mahir Çakar and Erich Penzel .
After completing his studies, he was principal horn player in the Frankfurt Opera House and Museum Orchestra from 1989 and in the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra from 1996 . In the same year he was appointed principal horn in the orchestra of the Bayreuth Festival , where he has been a permanent member ever since. In addition to his orchestral work , Lampert mainly devotes himself to chamber music .
Lampert taught as a lecturer at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts from 1997 , was appointed professor for horn at the Basel University of Music in 2002 and has been teaching horn at the Stuttgart University of Music since 2004 . Since 1999 he has also been a lecturer for the International Young Orchestra Academy (IJOA) in Pleystein.
