Thomas Lasser (born October 25, 1969 in Wiesbaden ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
In his youth Thomas Lasser played at SV Wehen , SV Wiesbaden and from 1985 at Eintracht Frankfurt . In 1987 he moved up to the amateur team of the SGE. On February 18, 1989, he made his Bundesliga debut. The 19-year-old was on the starting line-up for the game against FC Bayern Munich (2-2). This was followed by regular assignments in the professional team until the end of the season. It was used for Frankfurt until 1992. He could not fight for a regular place in the long term.
For the 1992/93 season he moved to the second division club SV Waldhof Mannheim . After a season in which Lasser played 38 of 46 games, he left the Palatinate club again and went to FSV Frankfurt in the league. The FSV was promoted to the second division in 1994, in which Thomas Lasser played 18 times in 1994/95. The FSV Frankfurt was knocked off bottom of the table and rose again to the third division.
Thomas Lasser signed a contract for the 1995/96 season with Alemannia Aachen , which competed in the Regionalliga West / Südwest . In 1998/99 Aachen rose to the 2nd Bundesliga as captain with Lasser. During the season, Lasser announced his departure from Tivoli. He switched to FSV Frankfurt to finish his business studies in Frankfurt. Lasser played 33 times for FSV in the Regionalliga Süd in 1999/2000 , but at the end of the season they were relegated due to a faux pas. On the last day of the match, Elton da Costa , who was not on the score sheet, was substituted on. The 1-0 victory was revoked. After relegation Lasser left the club.
Lasser played in his career in the position of libero and in midfield.
After completing his business studies degree, he started working for a waste management company.
