Thomas Leberfinger (born January 5, 1990 in Rosenheim ) is a German soccer player .
Career
Thomas Leberfinger first played in his home country at SV Riedering and then at TSV 1860 Rosenheim . From there he moved to SV Wacker Burghausen in the B-youth . There he was a youth player until 2009 and in his last year of youth was already used in the U-23 in the Landesliga Süd.
After moving to the senior division, it was not until the 34th matchday that the versatile defensive player got his first substitution for the professional team in the third division shortly before the end of the game . Two more short appearances followed on the last two match days. In the 2010/11 season he initially played in the second team, but eventually he was called up more and more often in the first and was on the starting line-up in most games in the second half of the season. He was preferably used in defensive midfield in front of the defense. In spring 2011 he extended his contract for one year.
Due to his training as an industrial clerk , he could no longer afford the time invested in the professional company in Burghausen and so joined the regional league team TSV Buchbach at the beginning of the 2015/16 season .
