Thomas Madritsch (born May 5, 1965 in Tyrol ) is an Austrian economist in the field of real estate and facility management . He is managing director and professor at the FH Kufstein University of Applied Sciences .

Career

In his initial training, Madritsch is an engineer for heating and air conditioning technology. He gained experience in facility management as a branch manager of a sales and customer service organization for heating and air conditioning technology as well as in the research and development of building technology systems. This was followed by a part-time course in business administration and marketing as well as a university of applied sciences course in organizational and personnel development. He completed his doctorate in the field of health sciences at UMIT in Hall in Tirol.

Madritsch developed the facility management courses and the Institute for Facility Management & Real Estate Management at the FH Kufstein Tirol from 2001 to 2011 into a leading competence center in this area.

Thomas Madritsch was a board member of Facility Management Austria (FMA), the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) as well as a nominated expert of the European Standards Commission and a member of the board of the European Facility Management Organization (EuroFM).

Since 2011 he has been responsible for the development of the university as managing director of the FH Kufstein Tirol and Business School.

Madritsch is married and has two children. He lives in Tyrol.
