Thomas Michael Becker (born October 26, 1948 in Indianapolis , Indiana ) is a former American bobsleigh athlete .

In 1971 Becker took first place in both the US championships and the North American championships in the four-man bobsleigh. This was also his most successful year in bobsleigh. At the 1972 Winter Olympics in Sapporo , he came 19th in the two-man bobsleigh. In 1973 Becker was again in the winning bobsleigh at the US and North America championships. He was also able to achieve eleventh place with his four-man bobsleigh at the World Championships in Lake Placid . Two years later, he finished seventh in the two-man bobsleigh in Cervinia . In 1976 in Innsbruck he reached his second Olympic Winter Games 14th place in the two-man bobsleigh and 15th in the four-man bobsleigh.

After finishing his career, Becker studied physiotherapy at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis and then worked as such in Indianapolis.
