Thomas Mikkelsen (born January 19, 1990 in Tønder ) is a Danish football player who plays as a center forward.

Career

He spent his youth at Brodebro Idrætsforening. From there he moved to FC Sydvest 05, where he scored 11 goals in 14 games.

In the winter break of 2009/10 he was signed by Vejle BK . He played there for 3 ½ years before moving to FC Fredericia for two seasons in the spring of 2013 .

In summer 2014 Mikkelsen was sold to Odense BK. There he received a contract until June 30, 2018. However, he did not make the breakthrough and was then loaned to IFK Göteborg for one season . With this team he was Swedish Cup winner 2015. After that he was loaned to Vejle BK for one season. A loan to Dundee United in Scotland followed in January 2017 . In the second division he scored seven goals in 17 games by the end of the season before moving back to Denmark.
