The Swedish Football Cup 2014/15 (also called Svenska Cupen 2014/15 ) was the 59th edition of the men's football cup competition. The first round started on June 3, 2014. The final took place on May 17, 2015 at Gamla Ullevi in Gothenburg . The defending champion was IF Elfsborg .

The IFK Göteborg won the cup, winning the final against Örebro SK 2-1. He was qualified for the second qualifying round of the 2015/16 UEFA Europa League . The top scorer was the Dane Lasse Vibe from IFK Göteborg and the Swede Richard Yarsuvat from Norrby IF with seven goals each .

Mode and calendar

The competition started in the summer with the qualifying rounds of the national associations of Dalarnas and Örebro Läns . The other associations determined the participants in the first round via their national cup winners. In the first round, clubs in the third division or below competed against each other.

The 32 winners of the first round were joined by the 32 already seeded teams of the two highest Swedish leagues: the Allsvenskan and the Superettan . The seeded teams were drawn to the winners of the first round, separated into north and south. This was followed by a group stage with eight groups, in which everyone played once against each of the group. The respective group winners made it to the quarter-finals. This was followed by the semi-finals and finally the final in May.
