Ahmed Yasin Ghani (born April 22, 1991 in Baghdad ) is an Iraqi - Swedish football player . The midfielder , who made his debut for Örebro SK in 2011 in the Allsvenskan , took part in the 2015 Asian Cup with the Iraqi national team.

Career

Yasin, who came to Sweden from Iraq with his family as a child, started playing football at BK Forward . He made his debut in Division 1 of the third division team at the time in 2008 . As a result, he came into focus at Svenska Fotbollförbundet . In the summer of the year he took part in a training camp for the Swedish U-19 junior team.

After Yasin had already trained at Örebro SK in late autumn 2010 , he signed a long-term contract with the first division club in December of that year. Initially only used sporadically as a junior player in the Allsvenskan, he moved into the starting line-up at the end of the 2012 season after relegation, which was already established at an early stage . In the subsequent second division season he established himself in the regular formation and was involved in the direct resurgence from the Superettan with six goals each season and assists . After playing for the Iraqi Olympic team in 2011, he made his first international appearance in June 2012 under national coach Zico in the Iraqi national team as part of the 2012 Arab Nations Cup. While on the one hand he remained a regular player at his club under coach Alexander Axén and placed in the front midfield of the first division, he also established himself in the national team. Under coach Radhi Shenaishil , he was part of the squad for the 2015 Asian Cup.
