The Myresjö IF is a former Swedish sports club from Myresjö . The club's soccer team played in the second division for a total of twelve years between 1982 and 1997 .
history
Myresjö IF was founded in 1943. In addition to football and skiing, there was an ice hockey department in the 1950s and a bandy department , which were later dissolved. Towards the end of the decade, the football team began to rise. 1959 still in the lowest division managed to rise to the third division until 1968, in which the team narrowly missed the march into the second division in their first season behind Nybro IF as runner-up.
